As Chief Operating Officer of HiServe Academy, Erik Horwedel defines the training experience to be the linchpin to a successful operation, and focuses his efforts to simplify the complex for others to connect the dots. Erik strives to create learning opportunities and an environment that not only connects the dots but also aides in applying the knowledge gained. Because of this Erik prefers to be working hands on with his training team and he has an uncanny aptitude for organizational development through training.
Before HiServe Academy, a proven executive with 20+ years of private club experience, Erik obtained his club manager certification through Club Manager Association of America. Gaining practical management and training experience through a wide spectrum of private club organizations such as City Clubs, Beach Club, Golf Clubs & Country Clubs. Always having a passion for hands on training and coaching, Erik, along with his wife Laureen, developed HiServe Academy with the goal to be the number one resource, at all levels, for facilitating hospitality training. In his spare time, Erik enjoys traveling in New England, boating with the family and cooking spicy foods.
